We have previously announced that all of our planned and scheduled fund-raising activities have been put on hold until such time as it becomes same to resume them.
We have now taken the decision to cancel the first Annual General Meeting of the Friends, due to take place in August. As it stands at the moment, the next AGM will take place in August 2021. The Report and Accounts for the Friends of St Peter and All Hallows Church was recently circulated to members with the summer newsletter. If you did not get your copy and would like us to send you another, or if you would like a copy of the Constitution of the Friends, please e-mail us at email@example.com
It was with great regret that we had to postpone the arranged talk by Christopher Somerville on his book ‘Ships of Heaven’ which was due to take place on the 28th March and which would have been our first main event since the formation of Friends. The good news however is that Christopher has agreed to come to us at a later date once it is safe to do so.
Another postponement was the concert of music arranged with Richard Lennox due to take place on 27th June. Again we are hopeful that this concert will take place in the future.
The talk on ‘Lost Treasures of the Knights of Templar’ due to take place on 3rd October will also hopefully be re-scheduled when circumstances permit.
